Authorised visitors (to STUDENTS wiki), may enter comments and reply to discussions. Entering simple text content should be intuitive. Fancy content can be entered using [[https://www.dokuwiki.org/wiki:syntax|Dokuwiki syntax]]. To upload images into the comments, use 'Media Manager'. NOTE: MODERATORS MUST LOGIN TO THE STUDENT WIKI TO ENTER OR MODERATE COMMENTS. COMMENTS ENTERED OR APPROVED FROM WITHIN THE ANY OTHER WIKI WILL NOT APPEAR IN THE STUDENT WIKI. After each comment in the discussion section there may be up to four buttons (depending on your rights): - Reply: To reply to a comment (vs. commenting on main page content), click the 'Reply' button and enter your comment into the form. - Edit: Authoried, logged-in wiki users can edit their comments; Wiki admins can edit all comments. To remove a comment, just edit it, clear the text and save the empty comment – like you would do with a wiki page. - Delete: Registered users can delete their own comments - Admins can delete all comments. Attention: If there are replies to a comment, removing that comment will also remove all replies! - Hide / Show: Authorised users can 'hide' their own comments from other registered users. Wiki admins can deactivate and reactivate 'hidden' comments easily using this button. Hidden comments aren't shown to normal users but are displayed in dimmed text to admins. Wiki admins may designate a page as 'read only' while allowing normal users the right to read and write to to the discussion area in that page.
